Shipping policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy describes UAE delivery for YamBaba marketplace orders. Final delivery options and charges are calculated at checkout by YamBaba Area-Based Delivery.

Customer delivery charges (AED)

  • Dubai: AED 10 when merchandise subtotal is below AED 109; FREE at AED 109 or more.
  • Sharjah: AED 10 when merchandise subtotal is below AED 109; FREE at AED 109 or more.
  • Other remote / standard UAE areas (for example Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain): AED 10 — no AED 109 free-shipping threshold.
  • Western / Far areas: AED 15 — no AED 109 free-shipping threshold.

Free shipping at AED 109+ applies only to Dubai and Sharjah. Cart progress messages that suggest a different free-shipping amount are theme display settings and do not change the checkout rate.

Delivery timing

Estimated delivery timing is shown at checkout when available. Actual delivery may vary based on address, stock readiness, and courier conditions.

Packing and sensitive goods

Sellers must pack orders properly to reduce transit damage. Please inspect parcels on receipt and report transit damage promptly through Customer Service.

Order tracking

When a tracking number is available, it will be shared through the order notification or Customer Service.

Failed delivery / address issues

Please ensure your address and phone number are accurate at checkout. If delivery cannot be completed, contact info@yambaba.ae.

Change-of-Mind Outbound Delivery Recovery (COM-2026.12)

For approved Change-of-Mind returns after delivery:

  • Original customer shipping paid is generally not refunded.
  • You normally return the item to the designated YamBaba Fulfilment Centre.
  • If original delivery was free or subsidised, an Applicable Change-of-Mind Outbound Delivery Recovery may be deducted from the merchandise refund. The exact amount is shown when you confirm a return, based on the outbound amount attributable to the returned item(s).
  • Seller-fault returns (wrong, faulty, damaged, not as described) follow different rules: eligible merchandise and original shipping refunds after approval, without charging you seller-fault return logistics.
  • All refunds remain subject to return inspection.

Policy version: COM-2026.12. Free Delivery at checkout remains a checkout benefit; Change-of-Mind recovery, when applicable and activated, is disclosed at return confirmation.
